I have been playing Warcraft II for a little over a year now, and I have taken quite a liking to it. I have found, however, that playing games against living, thinking, sentient human beings (via a hard-wire using apple talk, or over a modem) is infinatley more challenging (and not coincidentaly-more fun) than playing games against a program which, although created by entirely brilliant people, has yet to swear at me because I happen to be using my army of dragons to destroy its city whose army consists entirely of Orc-mages! (The previous sentence if funny only to those who play Warcraft II. If you do not understand the humor in the previous statement, I suggest you try defending a city from an attack of dragons with an army of Orcs.) Locating people with whom to play warcraft has been difficult and all of my attempts have failed. I decided recently to create a web page and after many unsuccessful attempts to find an interesting subject, I found myself typing a description of a large glass water jug onto my very young, very small, and most importantly, infinatley BORING web page. I also happened to be craving a game of Warcraft. Then, like so many large, heavy, and otherwise useless American History books, an idea hit me: I would create this web page- A haven for Macintosh- weilding, Warcraft-craving people like myself.
Consult the book of Warcraft II!!!-You know, the one that came with the CD. Read the part which shows how to use someone's IP to play a game with them over the 'net. Then go to my Warcraft II Chat where you can arrange games with real people. Bliss! If you want to add chat to your website go to: Chat Now![]()
The focus of my page is to provide a place to meet Warcrat II playing Macintosh users,as you already know, but for other Warcraft II stuff, follow theese links: (this section is still under construction) Creative Computing's WarCraft II Web - Links, Cheats, Editors, Chat & tons of PUDs.![]()
